4. Generative AI Features

Life By Bible includes a conversational assistant feature ("God Assistant") powered by third-party AI services. When you submit messages in the assistant:

• Your message text is sent to our backend server, which forwards it to our AI provider's API for processing.
• The AI service processes your message to generate a Scripture-grounded response.
• We include your profile context (name, denomination) in the request to personalize responses.
• Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information (financial, medical, legal) in chat prompts.
• AI responses may contain mistakes and should be reviewed carefully.
• Prompt/response data may be logged for safety, quality, and abuse prevention.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data with the following service providers strictly as needed for app functionality:

• Third-party AI provider — receives your chat messages and profile context to generate assistant responses.
• Apple — processes Sign in with Apple authentication and speech recognition.
• Database provider — stores your profile data securely.
• Hosting provider — hosts our backend server infrastructure.

6. Permissions and Device Access

• Notifications: Used to send reminders only if you grant permission in iOS.
• Microphone (if enabled by features): Used for voice interactions and not always required.

7. Data Retention

We retain data only for as long as necessary to provide app functionality, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

8. Your Choices and Rights

• You can stop further data collection by uninstalling the app.
• You can manage notification permissions in iOS Settings.
